when I'm wrong, i'm wrong

I just listened to some of Marissa Marchant's music and discovered that I was TOTALLY wrong in my previous, rather scathing post in which I described Marissa as a pretentious and elitist prat on the order of Save Karyn!

Marissa displays songwriting skills that puts Bob Dylan's to shame and has a vocal range that makes Beth Quist sound monotonal.

I really really mean it. Thom Yorke just might as well go home.

I urge all of you to both join the Marissa Marchant community here at LiveJournal and purchase all four of her CD's.

Why sure, I know that $2000 is a LOT of money (enough to feed thirty starving children for a whole year), and three of the four CD's haven't even been recorded yet, but this is REAL ART, y0, not commercial tripe like, say, Johnny Cash or Tori Amos. I personally plan on selling every other CD I own just so that I might be able to purchase but one of her CD's, and am considering selling a kidney to get the whole set. I urge all of you to do the same. You only really need one kidney, right?
